Linking churches and ministries together for outreach every July 4th on the National Mall
Our friend Ibrayina was sharing the Gospel with a lot of people and she came across these two monks. They were either Krishna or Buddhist – we don’t really know. They didn’t really talk with her much but she gave them tracts. I saw them walking by the water tent and they were reading the tracts, but one of them kept looking back at it. He looked to be truly interested. This is when the McGregor Baptist youth were singing on stage. They proceeded to go closer to the stage area and the one monk who was intently looking at the tract stood out there and was paying very close attention to the singing. I believe that he was truly experiencing God at that moment. I don’t know if he was about to make that decision or he might have done it sometime in the future, but my friend, Christi, and I were in the volunteer tent praying for him. I believe God revealed Himself to this man. The other monk was hiding behind the sound tent, so I don’t think he was as open to the Word.
